Ingram, who played 31 ODIs and nine T20Is, was purchased by Delhi Capitals for Rs 6.40 crore from a base price of Rs 2 crore to surpass Carlos Brathwaite’s price tag of Rs 5 crore earlier in the auction. The former South Africa batsman Colin Ingram – who in 2014 signed a Kolpak deal with English county side Glamorgan – has become the second highest-earning overseas player at the 2019 IPL player auction in Jaipur on Tuesday.
